Unless otherwise stated in the information below, we only store the data for as long as it is required to achieve the processing purpose or to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. These legal storage obligations can particularly arise from commercial or tax regulations.

d. Technical Service Providers
Unless otherwise stated in the information below, data is processed on the servers of technical service providers whom we have employed for this purpose. These service providers only process the data according to explicit instructions and are contractually obliged to ensure adequate technical and organizational data protection measures.

2. Processing Server Log Files

If you are just using the website to acquire information, then only general information will automatically be stored (so not via a registration) initially, which your browser transmits to our server. Generally, this includes: Browser type/version, operating system used, page visited, the previously visited page (referrer URL), IP address, time and date of the server request, and HTTP status code.

The data is processed to safeguard our legitimate interests in accordance with the legal basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 Clause 1 f) GDPR. Processing aids the technical management and security of the website. The stored data is deleted after seven days if there is no legitimate suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete criteria, meaning further inspection and processing of the information is not required for this reason.

4. Newsletter

On our website, we offer the option for you to subscribe to our newsletter. If you subscribe, we will send you regular updates about our range. A valid e-mail address is required to subscribe to our newsletter. You will receive a registration e-mail to verify the e-mail address, whereby you must confirm using the link provided (double opt in). If you subscribe to the newsletter on our website, we will process personal data such as your e-mail address and your name on the basis of your consent. The processing is in accordance with the legal basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 Clause 1 a) GDPR.

Should you subscribe to our newsletter, we will also save the IP address as well as the time and date of the subscription. Processing this data is required in order to verify the consent granted. The legal basis results from our legal obligation to document your consent (Art. 6 Sec. 1 c GDPR in conjunction with Art 7 Sec. 1 GDPR).

We also analyze the reading behavior and click rates of our newsletters. To this end, we collect and process pseudonymized usage data that is not combined with your e-mail address or your IP address.

The legal basis for analyzing our newsletter is Art. 6 Sec. 1 Clause 1 f) GDPR and the processing aids our legitimate interests to optimize our newsletter. You can object to this at any time by contacting us using any of the channels mentioned above.

6. Google Analytics

We use the service Google Analytics provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland) to analyze our website visitors. Google uses cookies. Information acquired via cookies about the usage of the online content by the users is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyze the usage of our online content by the users, to compile reports about activities within this online content, and to carry out additional services related to the use of this online content and Internet usage. During this process, pseudonym usage profiles can be created for the users using processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with active IP anonymization. This means that the user’s IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or within other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only sent to Google servers in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. A transfer of your data to the US can not be ruled out.

The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not combined with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by using the corresponding settings in their browser software.

7. Google AdWords

On our website, we use the online advertising program Google AdWords provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland) through which we display ads on Google. If you arrive at our website via a Google Ad, Google will place a cookie on your device (“conversion cookie”). In the course of this, each AdWords customers is assigned a different conversion cookie, so that the cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of different AdWords customers. The information acquired via the cookie is used to create conversion statistics. This allows us to determine the total number of users who click on our Google ad. However, we do not receive any information through which users can be personally identified.

If any personal data is collected during this process, this is in accordance with the legal basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 f GDPR and the data processing serves our legitimate economic interests. On our website, we use services and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as “content”) provided by third parties. 9. What you should know about our Facebook page

Apart from this website we run the www.facebook.com/AVLcon/ Facebook page as well which we use to present our company, to provide information about our products and services, and to communicate with our customers and other interested parties. As far as personal data is concerned it is our principle never to process it unless you interact with our Facebook page, e.g. when you click a like button or send us a comment or a message. The legal basis for any processing of personal data on our part is art. 6(1)(d) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) on the one hand (for instance when you send us a request relevant to a contract). On the other hand data may also be processed if you have consented to it in accordance with art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (for instance when you "like" one of our posts or comment on it or upload content on our page). You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting such comment or content. The legality of any processing performed with your consent up to the moment of revocation is not affected by such revocation. We also analyse the visits to our Facebook page and any interactions that occur on it. While Facebook creates usage profiles for this purpose all of the data made available to us will be anonymous without exception.

Please note that when you access and use our Facebook page your personal data is processed by the "Facebook" operating companies as well. These are Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 registered in Ireland, and Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025 registered in the USA.
